Don't throw away the end pieces

I have a simple, money saving thing that I do with the end pieces of bread.
I save them in the freezer until I have quite a lot of them, (I save them in the
bags they come in). Then I take them out and when they are thawed, I tear
them into smaller (somewhat) pieces and process them in the food processor
unitil they are just crumbs. Then I put them into a gallon bag and freeze them.
They keep almost indefinetly in the freezer, I take out what I need to top
casseroles with and keep the rest frozen. They are delicious and dress up the
dishes quite well.
I also make delicious Vegan Bread Pudding!!!
Cube 9 pieces of bread, soak in 1 cup very warm water and 1 cup soy milk. (I you
have plain soy milk add vanilla). Add 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup unsweetened juice
(I use pineapple), 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 cup raisins (opt) and 1/2 cup chopped
nuts (optional).
Bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes until a knife comes out clean. Delicious, fast and easy!
